I feel like the blog assignment would be more for students to use than teachers. This assignment could allow students an opportunity to give teachers feedback over assignments and projects. It could improve students learning by teaching them to correct grammar and allows them to understand technology in order to communicate with one another. Some teachers allow students to write in journals for the teacher to read. However creating a blog allows students the chance to write freely about things and share their thoughts with other students and teachers.
