Class Websites

In class, we have been working on classroom websites.I think that this assignment is going to help me as a teacher because it will allow me to set things up the way i want my students and parents to view our classroom. I think you can use this website in a classroom by allowing students to leave comments about activities. It will let students understand what we will be doing in class all year and could allow them to keep up with what their own grades are. I think this website could improve students learning by letting them experiment with the website. Originally teachers send home papers at the beginning of the year letting parents know what will be going on in class, the grading scale, and classroom rules. As usual students will loose them, never give them to their parents, or will forget what the papers said later o in the school year. Having a classroom website will allow them an opportunity to always be able to come back and look at these important documents throughout the year. I think this website is an amazing opportunity for all teachers and that they should take advantage of it.
